About Dixon County Criminal History

Dixon County criminal records are divided among the sheriff, County Court, District Court, Nebraska State Patrol, state corrections system, and Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. Each office answers a different question. This privately run reference site brings the official routes together so readers can identify the right portal, mailing address, phone number, or records counter without treating one database as a complete history.

Why We Built This Site

Nebraska provides several public access routes, but Dixon County has no single local criminal-record portal. The sheriff handles incident, booking, jail, warrant, and registration duties. County Court keeps misdemeanors, ordinances, traffic matters, and felony preliminary files, while District Court keeps felony prosecutions. The Nebraska State Patrol maintains the statewide criminal-history repository. Nebraska Department of Correctional Services and the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry add separate custody and registration systems. Bringing those distinctions, fees, contacts, and request steps into one reference makes it easier to approach the actual custodian.

What We Cannot Do

This resource is privately operated and has no affiliation with a Nebraska court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

  • We cannot obtain or certify a criminal record for a visitor
  • We cannot submit a public-record request, sealing motion, or set-aside petition for anyone
  • We cannot alter a court file or Nebraska State Patrol history
  • We cannot give advice about a charge, warrant, or individual case
  • We cannot promise that an office’s fee, hours, or procedure has not changed

An official record must come from the Dixon County office or Nebraska agency that created and maintains it.
